Wine & Beer
Most people may think of white wine when they think of summer, but have you ever paused a moment and thought of how nicely a glass of red pairs with the smoky char on your favorite grilled foods? We have three new arrivals from Argentina that are a perfect match to your grilled steak, burger or kebabs.
Los Ailos Syrah/Malbec San Juan, Argentina 2008
Complex aroma and flavors of red raspberry, cherry and plum enhanced by chocolate, roasted coffee and smoked vanilla bean. This wine is smooth and elegant due to the balanced tannins. Los Ailos is intense in structure with a pleasant finish.
Los Ailos Syrah/Tannat San Juan Argentina 2008
Intensely purple in color, austere and lively. This wine shows outstanding focus. Notes of black bramble fruit, plum skin, truffle oil and baking spices that envelope your senses and take you on a fantastic journey. A very meaty wine with great acidity and firm tannins.
Los Ailos Syrah Reserva San Juan, Argentina 2008
Unbridled syrah! Deep and dark with notes of wild black berry fruit, fig, bacon, campfire, cedar, black pepper and anise. This syrah is magnificently built; unfolding layers from fruit to spice seamlessly, perfect structure and tannin.
