You know fall is in the air when pumpkin ales fill your glass! Pumpkin ales are many and varied with some that opt to use whole pieces of cutpumkin in the brewign process while others opt for pumkin puree or flavoring. Most will include familiar fall spices like nutmeg, ginger and allspice to warm you up during the colder fall and winter months.
Warm up with these cold ones! I don't know if you have noticed but ciders are about as trendy as beards are right now. They are a great alternative to pumkin beers and the best news is they are safe for our Gluten-Free peeps out there. Try some of the ciders available in our beer department out, they get a lot more creative than plain ol' apple, and most are local!
In the fall the hop harvest is in full swing and you can expect some deliciously unique fresh hop brews. Much like wine, the hops used to brew a particular beer will influence the taste of the beer.
