Sesame Ginger Shrimp

    Ingredients:

  • 1 lb large Shrimp, peeled and deviened

  • 4 tsp Soy Sauce

  • 2 Cloves Garlic, minced

  • 1 Tbsp Fresh Ginger, minced

  • 1/4 Tsp Red Pepper Flakes

  • 3 Tbsp Vegetable oil

  • 1/2 Cup Water

  • 1 Tbsp Toasted Sesame Oil

  • 1 Tbsp Oyster Sauce

  • 1 Tsp Cornstarch

  • 1 Tsp Lemon Juice

  • 1 Tbsp Sesame Seeds

Instructions:

  • Toss shrimp and 2 tsp of soy sauce in a medium bowl. Combine garlic, ginger, pepper flakes and 1 tbsp oil in a small bowl. Stir water, sesame oil, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and remaining soy sauce together in a measuring cup.

  • Heat 1 Tbsp oil in a large non-stick skillet over high heat until hot. Add shrimp to skillet and cook until opaque, about 2 minutes. Push shrimp to the side of skillet and add garlic mixture to center of skillet, mash with a spoon until fragrant, about 10 seconds, stir into shrimp.

  • Add water mixture and cook until thickened, about 2 - 3 minutes, stir in shrimp to combine

  • Serve over rice and season with black pepper to taste.
